A Visionary,
Helming the Ship of Greenlab
Being highly interlinked through blood ties and owing to his strong bond with his brother-in-law, our founder, Mr. Manjibhai Patel, started the Group with making his brother-in-law his trade partner. The seed of family entrepreneurship grows deep in his life and the ones around him since the diamond industry greatly depends on the trust and skills of the trade partners.
Backtracking Mr. Manjibhai’s steps, India was in an era of unorganised businesses with poor infrastructure. But what he could envision was a “Global India”.
His passion and insight into the diamond industry, backed by the policies of the government to support the import of rough diamonds, inspired him to realise his dream. Over half a decade ago, he founded the Group by moving from his village, Nani Maal, in Gujarat to Surat.
